Breya L. Whitefield, PhD, BCBA-D,PsychologyBreya L. Whitefield, PhD, BCBA-D, is a Licensed Psychologist at Children’s Wisconsin and an Assistant Professor at the Medical College of Wisconsin with specialized expertise in the assessment and treatment of challenging behaviors among children, adolescents, and young adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities.

She current serves within the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine at Children’s Wisconsin, where she founded and directs the Pediatric Behavior Management Clinic (P-BMC), a training and service program designed to deliver evidence-based behavioral interventions and parent training for families navigating complex behavioral needs.

Dr. Whitefield’s clinical and research interests focus on family-centered care, behavioral parent training, and improving systems-level access to evidence-based practices for neurodiverse youth with the goal of promoting practical, compassionate, and sustainable behavior change.
