Children’s Wisconsin has named Bill Hanna as the next president of Chorus Community Health Plans (CCHP).  

Hanna will be responsible for setting the vision, direction and strategies needed to achieve CCHP’s goals related to quality, service, operations and financial performance. He will collaborate with leaders across Children’s Wisconsin to maximize opportunities that address social drivers of health and continue building an integrated system of care.

“Bill brings a unique combination of Medicaid expertise, government and commercial insurance experience and operational leadership to Children’s Wisconsin,” said Gil Peri, President and CEO of Children’s Wisconsin. “His understanding of both the regulatory and operational sides of government-sponsored health care will be an important asset as we continue to strengthen our health plan offerings and their critical role in our commitment to support Wisconsin kids and families.”

Hanna most recently served as Practice Director for Payer Strategy and Program Design at ATI Advisory. Previously, he was Wisconsin’s Medicaid Director, where he had oversight of the state’s Medicaid program. He also has held executive leadership positions with UnitedHealthcare, the D.C. Department of Health Care Finance, the Dane County Department of Human Services and the Wisconsin Department of Health Services.

Hanna holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Georgia in Athens and a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin.
